Every special endeavour requires a special guest. Today, we will know more about Rishi Rishyashringa, also famed as a Rainmaker, who conducted the Putrakameshti Yagna for Raja Dasaratha.
• Minister Sumantra narrates Sage Rishyashringa’s story to Maharaja Dasharatha.
• The sage always dwells in the forest as per his father’s instructions.
• Maharishi Rishyashringa’s arrival is predicted by Maharishi Sanatkumara, who says that when the rains fail in Anga Desha due to Indra Deva’s curse, Sage Rishyashringa will end the curse. In return, Raja Romapaada would marry his daughter Devi Shanta to that sage.
• Sumantra concludes that inviting Sage Rishyashringa would help Raja Dasharatha beget children.
