We are pleased to announce our first exciting event around Bheeshmashtami this year –
We announce a Bhagavad Gita Chanting Contest for children in the age group of 6-15 that will be held on January 28-29, 2023, on the auspicious occassion of Bheeshmashtami, the day the Pitamaha granted immortal wisdom by chanting the 1,000 names of Bhagavan Sriman Narayana.
What is the event all about?
The event involves having children of different age groups chant verses from the Srimad Vishnu Sahasranaama Stotram recited by Bheeshmacharya.
Participants from different age groups will have to chant specific verses from the Stotram.
- Contest for participants aged 6-10 will be held on January 28.
- Contest for participants aged 10-15 will be held on January 29.
